After two weeks ending with negative R, I'm back and wrapped things up with +1.37R. This week's featured trade was all about 'THE FLIP' which turned a losing trade into a winning one into a...less winner? Read on!

Week 08 had it all. Volume, setups, wins, losses, and greed. A major flow was exposed in the System and a milestone of 25 trades was hit. Read on to find out all about it. Ok so maybe it’s not as riveting as a telenovela, but in the world of BTC perp trading, this is pretty good…just read it.

The week’s best trade appeared exactly when System 1.0 said not to trade (and pumped for a +2R move). In a newly structured Journal, I break down why I stayed out, what the numbers showed, and how one missed opportunity could shape the System’s next update.

Week 6 offered way more tradable opportunities which saw five trades being taken, the most in a single week since starting The Journal. This meant more practice in flagging setups, reading orderflow quickly, executing and trade management. The result: +2.28R banked.

This was a good week. Possibly my best week. Not only because I ended up +3.57R, but because I was actually able to make a mistake, identify the problem, and most importantly be given the opportunity to fix it very quickly. It’s almost as if feedback works.

Given last week's nightmare performance, I spent the week focused on executing my set up and sticking to the plan. And it paid off. I mean I'm still net negative, but finishing the week with +1.7R felt good.
